PGSD FAIPG UNIDA Holds Science Education Teaching Practitioner Program in Collaboration with BRIN

The Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) of the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education (FAIPG), Djuanda University, held a Teaching Practitioner program themed “Science Education Teaching Practitioner” on Wednesday (10/6/2026). The activity was conducted online via Zoom Meeting and featured a practitioner from the Directorate of Competency Development of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Nurdiansah Dwi Sasongko, M.Pd.

The program was attended by PGSD students of the 2024/2025 cohort along with the lecturer of the Science Education course, Dr. Wiworo Retnadi Rias Hayu, M.Pd. This Teaching Practitioner program served as one of the study program’s efforts to strengthen students’ understanding of the implementation of science learning in elementary schools.

The activity was carried out in an orderly and interactive manner. The event began with an opening session by the moderator, followed by remarks from the lecturer of the Science Education course.

During the session, the speaker presented materials on innovative science learning implementation that is relevant to current educational developments. Students were also encouraged to continuously develop their competencies, creativity, and critical thinking skills in the elementary school learning process.

The students’ enthusiasm was evident during the discussion and question-and-answer session. Various questions were raised regarding science learning strategies, the development of learning media, and educational challenges in the modern era.

The activity concluded with a summary session, group documentation, and an expression of appreciation to the speaker for the knowledge and experiences shared during the program.
