Bogor – A total of 114 students from the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education (FAIPG), Djuanda University (UNIDA) were officially deployed to participate in the 2026 Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata/KKN) across 15 villages in Bogor Regency on Monday (July 20, 2026). The students, representing the Islamic Education Management (MPI), Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD), and Arabic Language Education (PBA) study programs, will carry out community service activities as part of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
The KKN locations include Cibalung, Cijeruk, Cipelang, Cipicung, Palasari, Sukaharja, Tajurhalang, Ciadeg, Cigombong, Ciburayut, Ciburuy, Cisalada, Tanjungsari, Watesjaya, and Cinagara villages, which are located in the districts of Cijeruk, Cigombong, and Caringin, Bogor Regency.
The send-off ceremony was held at the Main Field of Djuanda University. The event began with participant registration, followed by the opening ceremony, the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur'an, the singing of the Indonesian national anthem Indonesia Raya and the Djuanda University Hymn, remarks from the Head of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), and an official address and ceremonial send-off by the Rector of Djuanda University.
As a symbolic mark of the commencement of the KKN program, the Rector and the Head of LPPM presented KKN attributes to student representatives. The ceremony continued with the symbolic release of balloons, the reading of the KKN Student Pledge, a collective prayer, and a group photograph involving the university leadership, field supervisors (DPL), and all participating students before they departed for their respective village assignments.
Throughout the KKN program, the students will implement various community service initiatives tailored to the needs and potential of each village. Through these activities, they are expected to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during their studies while gaining valuable hands-on experience through direct engagement with local communities.
