FAIPG UNIDA Students Officially Begin Community Service in Watesjaya Village Through KKN Handover Ceremony

Bogor – Students from the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education (FAIPG) at Djuanda University (UNIDA), who are members of Group 14 of the Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata/KKN), were officially handed over to the Government of Watesjaya Village, Cigombong District, Bogor Regency, on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. The handover ceremony marked the official commencement of their KKN program in the village.

The ceremony was held at the Watesjaya Village Office and attended by Rudi Irawan, S.IP., Head of Watesjaya Village, Wawan, the Village Secretary, village officials, and the field supervisors (DPL), Sobrul Laeli, M.Pd. and Muhammad Kafnun Kafi, M.Pd.

During the ceremony, the students were formally entrusted to the Watesjaya Village Government to carry out their community service activities throughout the KKN program. The handover marked the beginning of the students' engagement with the local community as part of their academic field experience.

The KKN program is an integral component of higher education, providing students with opportunities to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired in the classroom through direct community engagement while fostering collaboration with local government institutions.
