After lasting for one week, the series of GALAKSi 2025 activities (Student Academic and Creative Competition) organized by students of the Student Association (HIMA) of the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) at Djuanda University officially closed with solemnity and fanfare. Taking place in Building C, Djuanda University, this closing activity was attended by various important parties, including the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Religion and Teacher Education (FAIPG), Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I, Member of the DPR RI drh. Ahmad Syaikhu (former Deputy Mayor of Bogor), as well as Head of the PGSD Study Program as well as Supervisor of HIMA PGSD and Main Responsible for Activities, Dr. Helmia Tasti Adri, M.Pd.Si. The GALAKSi 2025 activity was attended by hundreds of participants from elementary, middle school, high school and vocational school levels who came from various cities and districts in the West Java Province region. By competing in five competitions covering academic and artistic creation, this activity was successful in becoming a place to appreciate student talent and creativity as well as a means of organizational learning for PGSD students as the organizing committee.
Chairman of HIMA PGSD Djuanda University, Nafhan Maulana Ashary, in his speech expressed his gratitude for the smooth running of the activity, as well as appreciation to all participants and parties involved.
"We are grateful that this activity ran smoothly and received high enthusiasm from participants and schools. GALAKSi is proof that PGSD students are ready to make a real contribution to the world of education," he said
Dean of FAIPG, Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I, also expressed her appreciation to all students and participants who had actively participated.
"I am proud of the hard work of PGSD students who not only study in the classroom, but also actively create educational spaces like this. GALAKSi is a real step in producing educators who are not only intelligent, but also creative and responsible," he said.
Meanwhile, Drh. Ahmad Syaikhu, Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives who was also present, expressed his admiration for the enthusiasm of the young generation which was visible in this activity.
"I really appreciate the students of Djuanda University who are able to organize activities of this magnitude. This is a real manifestation of students' contribution to building national character," he said
As the supervisor of HIMA PGSD and the main person responsible for activities, Dr. Helmia Tasti Adri, M.Pd.Si, also expressed her appreciation for the achievements of students and all parties who supported the implementation of GALAKSi 2025.
"I witnessed firsthand how PGSD students worked hard to prepare for this activity with enthusiasm. This is not just a competition, but also an extraordinary learning opportunity about management, teamwork and social responsibility," he said.
Apart from being a competition event between students, on this occasion awards were also given to 39 Djuanda University PGSD students who succeeded in achieving academic and non-academic achievements throughout 2025. This award was given as a form of appreciation and motivation so that students continue to develop their potential and become role models for the surrounding environment.
The event closed with the announcement of the winners from each competition branch, the presentation of awards to the champions and outstanding students, as well as documentation with all participants and the committee. An atmosphere of emotion and pride enveloped the end of this activity which had succeeded in becoming a place of achievement and inspiration for the younger generation
