The Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) of FAIPG held a coordination meeting involving lecturers and students on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, to strengthen the strategies for the 2026 New Student Admissions (PMB). The activity served as a collaborative discussion forum to develop various promotional programs that are more creative, communicative, and capable of reaching the wider community.
The meeting was led by the Head of the PGSD Study Program, Dr. Wiworo Retnadi Rias Hayu, M.Pd., together with the Secretary of the Study Program, Irwan Efendi, SH., M.Pd. Also attending were the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs as well as PGSD lecturer, Dr. Helmia Tasti Adri, S.Pd., M.Pd.Si., along with other PGSD lecturers, namely Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mega Febriani Sya, S.Pd., M.Pd., Sobrul Laeli, S.Pd.I., M.Pd., and Anne Effane, S.Pd.I., M.Pd. PGSD students also actively participated in discussing various promotional agendas that will be implemented throughout the PMB process.
During the meeting, the PGSD Study Program discussed several programs aimed at strengthening PMB 2026, including the creation of digital promotional media for the PGSD profile, optimization of social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, the development of PGSD podcasts, and live TikTok sessions involving students from different academic years. In addition to digital promotion, the PGSD Study Program also planned visits to schools and educational institutions as part of its efforts to introduce the study program to prospective students.
Furthermore, the coordination meeting also discussed plans for Zoom Meetings with alumni to help disseminate PMB information to the public. Collaboration programs related to the PGSD Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) program were also included as part of the discussion agenda.
The Head of the PGSD Study Program, Dr. Wiworo Retnadi Rias Hayu, M.Pd., stated that collaboration between lecturers and students plays an important role in building more active and engaging promotional efforts for the study program. Through the involvement of the entire academic community, the PGSD Study Program hopes that the implementation of PMB 2026 will run more optimally and become increasingly recognized by the wider community.
