Last Updated: 1 year ago

FAIPG KKN students from Djuanda Bogor University from Group 20 Cibentang held an educational career seminar "Can go from school to doctorate despite lack of achievement and lack of ability" at Yasti Vocational School. This seminar event aims to inspire and motivate students who have limitations both in terms of academic achievement and financial capabilities, to still dare to dream big, including studying up to Doctoral level. This seminar was attended by 80 participants from class 12 at Yasti Vocational School, and was attended by Mrs. Amelia and Mrs. Sri as teachers at Yasti Vocational School (29/07/2024)

The resource person presented was Mr. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Irman Suherman, S.Pd.I., M.Pd. Through this seminar, participants will be given insight into various scholarship programs, financial support, and personal development strategies that can help them achieve their dreams of higher education. This seminar also emphasizes the importance of perseverance, enthusiasm for learning, and self-confidence in achieving success, even if you do not have brilliant academic achievements or a strong economic background.

It is hoped that this seminar will raise the enthusiasm and self-confidence of participants, especially those who feel that they are underachieving or less financially capable, that they can still achieve a higher education degree, even a doctoral degree. Through information about various scholarship opportunities and other support, participants are expected to better understand the educational paths they can take without being burdened by financial problems. Apart from that, it is hoped that success stories from resource persons who have faced similar challenges can inspire participants to continue fighting and dare to dream big. This seminar also aims to build a support network between participants, speakers and various institutions, as well as encourage a paradigm shift that higher education can be achieved by anyone with strong determination and effort.
