The 2025 Summer Camp program is planned to take place for 10 days in September 2025 at the RTE University Campus, Rize. This activity will focus on cross-disciplinary academic workshops and visits to a number of strategic institutions in Türkiye. "RTE University provides full accommodation in campus dormitories as well as meals for all participants as a form of our commitment to supporting knowledge exchange," said Prof. Naim. Apart from students, this program also involves supervisory lecturers as academic assistants.

UNIDA Bogor had the opportunity to send 15 students and 2 supervisory lecturers, joining 15 students from Al-Azhar University Jakarta and 20 Qatar University students in a total quota of 50 participants.

One of the featured agendas in Summer Camp is an international symposium which is open to all participants. UNIDA students and lecturers have the opportunity to present research articles or scientific posters related to the workshop theme. This symposium is expected to become an academic publication platform as well as a global research network. "This is a momentum for students to test the quality of their research on the international stage," added Radif, UNIDA representative.

After the academic series, participants have the opportunity to take a tourist tour to Istanbul for 2-3 days at their own expense. Prof. Naim recommends certain destinations and trusted travel agents that provide affordable packages.

The detailed schedule and additional speakers will be finalized within the next month. Prof. Martin Roestamy, UNIDA academic, was proposed as a hybrid speaker in one of the sessions in this Summer Camp Program. "We prioritize material that is practice-based and relevant to the latest scientific developments," emphasized Prof. Naim. The language of instruction for all activities is English to ensure integration between international participants.

As a follow-up, UNIDA immediately sent a list of prospective participants to RTE University for preparation of an official invitation letter. Technical coordination such as symposium schedules, visa procedures and accommodation will be discussed via online communication within two weeks. "All parties must move quickly so that preparations are completed according to the timeline," said Prof. Naim.

The meeting closed with positive optimism from both parties. Prof. Naim expressed his appreciation for UNIDA's initiative in expanding global academic networks. "This is just the first step in a long-term collaboration which of course has mutualistic value," he concluded. Meanwhile, the UNIDA delegation emphasized the campus' readiness to welcome this program as part of the internationalization of education in order to realize a sustainable program and achieve a world class university by 2030.
