Last Updated: 2 years ago

Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Religion and Teacher Education (FAIPG) Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA) Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I., M.C.E became a resource person at the I'tikaf Selection for the Final Stage of Student Candidates for PKD Scholarship Recipients, Thursday (03/08/2023) in Room E.303 FISIPKOM UNIDA.

On this occasion, Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I., M.C.E, delivered a material entitled "Tawhid as Initial Capital to Face Global Challenges".

"What is monotheism? Tawhid is linguistically derived from the words wahida, yuwahidu, tauhidan which means to feel. According to the term, tawhid is to impress Allah Almighty in His uluhiyah, rububiyah, names and attributes. This is the description in the book written directly by Prof. Dr. H. Martin Roestamy, SH., MH and Dr. Hj. R. Siti Pupu Fauziah, S.Pd.i., M.Pd.I. Tawhid becomes a way of view, way of life, concept, handle, in everyday life and socializing with other humans," he explained, starting the presentation

Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I., M.C.E, sometimes said in doing something, humans have other motives besides because of Allah SWT, one of which is just because they want to be seen by other humans. Is a gap in human shortcomings because everything that is done must be entirely based on hoping for the pleasure of Allah SWT

"From now on we improve ourselves, if if we get difficulties in life, there may be things that are lacking from us, our prayers are not right, have not given much istighfar and dhikr to Allah. Allah never asks for promises, in contrast to humans who often ask for promises," he said.

"When we expect human beings, and we don't get what we expect, we feel tremendous disappointment. But when we experience that and we feel sincere about it, we will think that maybe it's best for us. God will surely replace it with a much better one, because behind every difficulty there must be ease. Never do we not believe that what we say to God will not come true, because God has promised that "Pray to me and I will grant it". If it is not granted through our prayers, it may be granted through the prayers of others."

Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I., M.C.E, revealed that sustenance is not just material in the form of money because if sustenance is just money, rich people will always be happy and will not feel sad. Sustenance is also not just a position or a descendant. Sustenance has various forms, such as health, good friends, and a good environment..

Santri PP Mabit UNIDA is a generation of Muslims with tawhid's primary capital. Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I., M.C.E explained the characteristics of the tawhid generation are faith, knowledge, charity, and character.

"Faith is in the Qur'an Surah Al-Baqarah verse 128. Knowledge is listed in the Qur'an surah Al-Mujis verse 11. It is useless if you have high knowledge, but do not believe. Many people do research and research, but if research and research are not based on faith, then it will not be good for him. If we do something with faith and knowledge, then Allah will raise the level of His servants," she explained

On this occasion, Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I., M.C.E, also reminded prospective PKD students to have high aspirations and education. Currently, the demands of Human Resources (HR) in the global competition are getting tighter, so if it is related, it is not only necessary to have intelligence but also good character. Tawhid is a foundation that PKD UNIDA students must own to become a generation of intelligent, knowledgeable, faithful, and moral
