Kuala Lumpur, January 29, 2026 – The ASEAN Academic & Business Association Conference (ASEANACA) Batch 6 continued on its fourth day with a main agenda consisting of an International Conference, Academic Workshop, and the implementation of Visiting Lecturing and Student Mobility programs involving higher education institutions from various countries across Southeast Asia.

In this activity, Muhammad Kafnun Kafi, S.Pd., M.Pd attended as a delegate from the Islamic Education Study Program (PAI) of Universitas Djuanda Bogor, together with academics, lecturers, and representatives of higher education institutions from Indonesia and Malaysia.

The fourth day’s agenda began with an International Conference and Academic Workshop highlighting the strengthening of research collaboration, visiting lecturing, and student mobility, combined with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the 6th ASEANACA International Conference (6th ICOSTELM 2026). The event was held at Menara Tabung Haji (Tabung Haji Tower), Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and involved various stakeholders in the field of higher education.

This conference served as a strategic platform to discuss the direction of higher education development at the regional level, particularly in addressing global challenges through strengthening cross-border academic networks. The discussions emphasized the importance of international collaboration as a means to enhance the quality of teaching, research, and the capacity development of both lecturers and students.

The participation of Universitas Djuanda Bogor in this conference and MoU signing represented a concrete step in supporting the achievement of the Key Performance Indicators (IKU) for Higher Education, especially in aspects of international cooperation, visiting lecturer programs, and expanding opportunities for student mobility. These programs are expected to have a direct impact on improving academic quality and the competitiveness of graduates.

The series of activities continued with an academic visit to University Geomatika Malaysia, which included a Signing MoU Ceremony, Visiting Lecturing implementation, and supporting activities such as a bazaar and fashion show. Through this visit, the delegation from Universitas Djuanda gained firsthand experience regarding the practice of international learning management, while also strengthening an adaptive and collaborative campus ecosystem.

The visiting lecturing session became an important moment in implementing the concept of an Impactful Campus, where lecturers not only serve as instructors in classrooms but also as agents of cross-border knowledge exchange. In addition, the bazaar and creative exhibitions demonstrated how higher education institutions can encourage the integration of academics, creativity, and student entrepreneurship.

According to Muhammad Kafnun Kafi, participation in the fourth day of ASEANACA Batch 6 provided valuable experience in expanding academic networks and enriching perspectives on international learning.

“Through the international conference, visiting lecturing, and the signing of this cooperation, Universitas Djuanda has a great opportunity to develop more collaborative and impactful academic programs, both for lecturers and students,” he stated.

With the completion of the fourth day’s agenda, Universitas Djuanda Bogor continues to demonstrate its commitment to developing globally oriented higher education that is relevant to current needs and aligned with the spirit of an Impactful Campus through the strengthening of sustainable international cooperation.
