Bogor — Efforts to create a safe and child-friendly school environment continue to be strengthened. Through a Community Service Program (PKM), Universitas Djuanda Bogor organized a program entitled “Enhancing Students’ Capacity in Creating a Child-Friendly School Climate: Let’s Stop Bullying!” at SMA Islam Darul Faizin on Thursday (13/2/2026).
The activity was attended by 60 twelfth-grade students and aimed to increase students’ awareness and active participation in preventing bullying practices within the school environment. Participants received guidance on the various forms of bullying, its impact on mental health and academic achievement, as well as strategies for building healthy and respectful social relationships.
The Head of the PKM program, Dr. Abdul Kholik, S.Pd.I., M.Pd.I., stated that students play a strategic role in creating a positive school climate. “A child-friendly school can only be realized if all members of the school community, especially students, have the awareness to reject all forms of violence and bullying,” he said.
The materials were delivered interactively through presentations, case discussions, and collective reflection. This approach encouraged students to be assertive, care for one another, and become agents of change in fostering a safe and inclusive school culture.
The school warmly welcomed the implementation of the program and expressed hope that similar initiatives could be carried out continuously. Through this PKM activity, the “Let’s Stop Bullying” movement is expected to become a shared commitment in realizing a comfortable, dignified school climate oriented toward the protection of children's rights.
