The current lecturer at UNIDA FAIPGVice Chancellor III of Djuanda University (UNIDA)Prof. Dr. Rasmitadila, M.Pd, was present asinvited speaker in the International Conference on Education, Technology and Social Sciences (ICONTESS) 2025, organized by Sultan Agung Islamic University (UNISSULA) Semarang, on Wednesday (18/6/2025).

On that occasion, Prof. Dr. Rasmitadila, M.Pd presented material entitled "Inclusive School-Integrated Service Centre Based on Collaborative Partnerships”. He emphasized the importance of building an integrated service center in an inclusive school environment that involves collaboration between parties, including teachers, parents, professionals, and the community.

"Inclusive education cannot stand alone. It requires an integrated service model based on collaborative partnerships between various parties, from the government, universities, schools, to communities, to truly create a friendly, adaptive, and equitable learning environment for all students," he stressed in a forum attended by participants from within and outside the country.

Prof. Dr. Rasmitadila, M.Pd who is also the Head of the UNIDA Research, Community Service and Scientific Development Institute (LP3K) explained several important components that are of concern in the concept of an integrated service center for inclusive schools based on collaborative partnerships. Among them is improving teacher competence, which is carried out through various training programs and ongoing mentoring.

“This program includes an understanding of the identification and handling of students with special needs, individual learning planning(Individualized Education Program/IEP), responsive curriculum design, to the implementation of assessments that are appropriate to students' needs," he explained.

In addition, the implementation of a differentiated curriculum and learning approachUniversal Design for Learning(UDL) is also a strategic step in creating an adaptive learning environment. This approach is designed to accommodate various learning styles of students and reduce barriers in the teaching and learning process, so that each student can reach their best potential.

"Then, no less important, the provision of supporting facilities and assistive technology (assistive technology) is also a priority. This aims to increase student independence, especially for those with special needs in accessing learning," he explained.

In addition, ease of access to information and data is also a concern, so that teachers, parents, and stakeholders can obtain relevant information regarding training schedules, counseling services, and learning interventions efficiently.

"All of these efforts are supported by the efficiency of service financing. This is achieved through the use of social funds, cooperation with various strategic partners, and contributions from all parties involved. With solid and sustainable collaboration, it is hoped that a more inclusive and responsive education system to the diversity of students can be optimally realized," he explained.

According to him, this approach contributes to improving the quality of learning in inclusive schools, while strengthening teachers' confidence in dealing with student diversity. This approach also encourages accelerated cross-institutional coordination and helps reduce the gap in access to education for children with special needs.
