Bogor, February 10, 2026 - The Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD), Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education (FAIPG), Universitas Djuanda carried out a Community Service (PKM) activity in the form of school mentoring to follow up on the results of the BAN-PDM accreditation at SD Daarut Tauhid Eco Farm. The activity, held on Monday, February 10, 2026, aimed to assist the school in comprehensively understanding the accreditation results and recommendations, while also developing a systematic and sustainable follow-up plan to improve the quality of education.

The head of the PKM team, Dr. Helmia Tasti Adri, M.Pd.Si, stated that accreditation does not merely function as an external evaluation but also as a reflective instrument for continuous improvement. “Accreditation results need to be followed up in a well-planned manner so that they truly have an impact on improving the quality of school management and the learning process,” she said.

The activity began with a welcoming speech from the Vice Principal of SD Daarut Tauhid Eco Farm, who expressed appreciation for the mentoring provided by the PGSD lecturers of Universitas Djuanda. The next remarks were delivered by the Dean of FAIPG Universitas Djuanda, emphasizing that this community service activity represents the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education as well as a form of strategic synergy between the university and elementary schools in ensuring educational quality.

Furthermore, the session continued with presentations and mentoring conducted by the PGSD lecturer team. The materials focused on understanding the role and function of BAN-PDM accreditation, strategies for developing follow-up plans, determining priority areas for improvement, and examples of implementing follow-up actions in school management and classroom learning. The activity was conducted interactively through discussions and question-and-answer sessions with teachers and school staff.

The results of the activity showed an increased understanding among the principal and teachers regarding the importance of following up on accreditation results as a foundation for improving educational quality. Participants also gained practical guidance in designing realistic improvement programs aligned with the school’s conditions.

Through this PKM activity, it is expected that SD Daarut Tauhid Eco Farm will be able to consistently and sustainably implement follow-up actions based on the accreditation results. The collaboration between Universitas Djuanda and partner schools is also expected to continue growing through various programs aimed at enhancing the quality of basic education.
