Dr. Agung Muttaqien, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education at Universitas Djuanda, Delivers Sermon at the Nuzulul Qur’an Commemoration and Orphan Charity Event

Bogor – The commemoration of Nuzulul Qur’an at Universitas Djuanda became one of the activities aimed at strengthening Islamic values among the academic community. On this occasion, Dr. Agung Muttaqien, who serves as Vice Dean I and Lecturer of the Arabic Language Education Study Program (PBA) at the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education (FAIPG), Universitas Djuanda, was entrusted to deliver a religious sermon (tausyiah) to the attendees.

The Nuzulul Qur’an Commemoration and Orphan Charity Event was held on Friday, March 6, 2026, corresponding to 16 Ramadan 1447 H, at Masjid Baitul Hamdi Universitas Djuanda. The event was attended by university leaders, lecturers, administrative staff, as well as members of the UNIDA community and the Amaliah educational community.

During the event, Dr. Agung Muttaqien delivered a sermon in commemoration of the revelation of the Qur’an as guidance for Muslims. His presence as the speaker became an important part of the program, which was followed solemnly by the participants.

The program began with the distribution of charity to orphans, followed by the recitation of Sholawat Nariyah, and continued with the sermon delivered by Dr. Agung Muttaqien. The event, which took place after the Asr prayer, was conducted in a religious and reflective atmosphere.

The participation of Dr. Agung Muttaqien in this event also reflects the active contribution of lecturers from the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education (FAIPG) in religious activities within the university environment. This Nuzulul Qur’an commemoration also served as a moment for the UNIDA community to strengthen Islamic values and enhance social concern, particularly for orphans.
