Two FAIPG UNIDA Lecturers Officially Conferred Doctoral Degrees in the Field of Islamic Educational Management

The Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education (FAIPG), Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA), has once again achieved an academic milestone through the success of two of its lecturers, Abdul Kholik and Muhammad Rendi Ramdhani, who were officially conferred doctoral degrees in the field of Islamic Educational Management at the Graduate School of Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta (UMJ).

The doctoral degrees were awarded after both candidates were declared to have successfully passed the Open Doctoral Promotion Examination, which was held on Monday, 19 January 2026, at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta (UMJ).

Abdul Kholik, Vice Dean for Non-Academic Affairs of FAIPG UNIDA and a lecturer at the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education, defended his dissertation entitled “The Development of a School Capacity Building Model in Creating a Child-Friendly School Climate.” The study emphasizes the importance of strengthening school capacity in a comprehensive manner to establish a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly educational environment.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Rendi Ramdhani, a lecturer at the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education, Universitas Djuanda, presented his dissertation entitled “Management of Vocational High School Partnerships with Industry, Business, and the World of Work (IDUKA) in Preparing Competent Graduates (A Multi-Case Analysis of Private Islamic Vocational Schools in Bogor Regency).” This research examines strategic partnerships between vocational schools and industry as an effort to enhance graduates’ competence and readiness for the workforce.

The achievement of these two FAIPG UNIDA lecturers is expected to make a significant contribution to the development of Islamic Educational Management, the strengthening of research culture, and the improvement of educational governance within the faculty and the university.
