Bogor, February 9, 2026 — The Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education (FAIPG) of Djuanda University Bogor once again demonstrated its commitment to Community Service (PKM) by conducting activities at Daarul Haliim Islamic Boarding School, Bandung, on February 9, 2026.
This PKM activity carries the overarching theme “Enhancing Students’ Capacity through Strengthening a Child-Friendly Boarding School Environment, Digital Learning, Santri Preneurship, and Islamic Financial Literacy” as a tangible contribution from FAIPG in supporting the development of students who are adaptive to contemporary challenges while upholding Islamic values.
The program involves six study programs within FAIPG: Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD), Islamic Education Management (MPI), Arabic Language Education (PBA), Islamic Religious Education (PAI), Islamic Economics (ESY), and Islamic Banking (PBS).
In its implementation, this PKM presents five main activities directly targeting the students, including:

Improving students’ understanding of the dangers of online gambling as a preventive effort to safeguard their interactions in the digital era. (MPI)

Enhancing students’ ability to develop businesses through the Business Model Canvas approach to foster a santri preneur spirit. (ESY)

Socialization on the dangers of online loans (pinjol) through the implementation of an Islamic lifestyle to strengthen students’ Islamic financial literacy. (PBS)

Improving students’ Arabic language skills using the flash card method to support active and engaging learning. (PBA)

Introducing self-potential and future direction for students in the modern era as a provision for character development and future planning. (PAI)
Through this activity, FAIPG Djuanda University hopes to create a positive impact in fostering a child-friendly boarding school environment, adaptive digital learning, encouraging students’ economic independence, and strengthening Islamic financial literacy.
This activity also serves as part of strengthening the partnership between higher education institutions and Islamic boarding schools in building a generation of students who are excellent, competitive, and possess noble character.
