The Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education (FAIPG) at Universitas Djuanda Bogor held a Thesis Writing Guidelines Socialization event. The activity was attended by final-year students from the Study Programs of Islamic Education Management, Elementary School Teacher Education, Arabic Language Education, Sharia Economics, and Sharia Banking (21/11/2024).
The socialization was conducted to provide students with a deeper understanding of the latest thesis writing guidelines implemented within FAIPG. The materials presented covered the structure of academic writing, research methodology requirements, citation and reference rules, as well as the administrative procedures that must be completed prior to registering for the thesis defense.
In his remarks, the Dean of FAIPG emphasized that writing a thesis is a crucial academic milestone that reflects students’ scholarly contribution. “Through this program, we hope that students can prepare their theses more systematically, adhere to the official guidelines, and uphold academic integrity,” he stated.
Participants expressed that the event was highly beneficial, as it offered a clearer overview of the thesis-writing process and common mistakes that need to be avoided. The session concluded with an open discussion between the presenters and the students to ensure that all participants gained a thorough understanding of the material.
