Last Updated: 1 week ago

The Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Training (FAIPG) Universitas Djuanda held a Management Review Meeting (RTM) and Follow-Up Action Plan (RTL) on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the FAIPG meeting room of Universitas Djuanda. The activity was conducted as part of the faculty’s efforts to evaluate and improve academic quality, research, and institutional governance based on the results of the Internal Quality Audit.

The meeting was led directly by the Dean of FAIPG, Dr. Abdul Kholik, and attended by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Helmia Tasti Adri, Head of the PGSD Study Program Dr. Wiworo Retnadi Rias Hayu, Secretary of the PGSD Study Program Irwan Efendi, Head of the MPI Study Program Dr. Syukri Indra, Head of the PBA Study Program Didin Syamsudin, and Head of the PAI Study Program Muhammad Kafnun Kafi.

During the meeting, participants discussed several quality audit findings in the areas of education, research, and community service. In the field of education, the faculty highlighted several issues, including the lack of documented satisfaction surveys for lecturers and educational staff, the suboptimal implementation of data-based RTM and RTL, and the realization of the RKAT target that has not yet been achieved.

In addition, each study program presented evaluations regarding their academic achievements. The MPI Study Program discussed the limited involvement of practitioners in the learning process, which has not yet met the minimum target of two courses. The PGSD Study Program highlighted the decline in the number of graduates, emphasizing the need for a student monitoring system through an early warning system. Meanwhile, the PBA Study Program addressed the high dropout rate, low student participation in the MBKM program, and the need to improve student study completion rates.

In the field of research, the meeting also discussed limited access to scientific journals, the need to increase lecturers’ publications, the implementation of an ISBN book grant program, and the integration of lecturers’ research results into learning activities through research-based Semester Learning Plan (RPS) revisions.

Through this forum, the faculty formulated several follow-up action plans that will be implemented gradually from June to August 2026. Some of the planned programs include conducting satisfaction surveys for lecturers and educational staff, monitoring budget realization every quarter, strengthening cooperation with educational practitioners, organizing scientific publication clinics, implementing a book grant program, and providing periodic academic assistance for students.

In addition, FAIPG also plans to develop a dashboard for monitoring at-risk students, conduct academic counseling sessions, monitor final project progress, and provide a scientific journal database to support the improvement of research quality among lecturers and students.

Through the implementation of the RTM and RTL, FAIPG Universitas Djuanda hopes that every improvement program can be carried out in a measurable and sustainable manner, thereby strengthening the culture of quality within the faculty and improving the overall quality of higher education services.
