FAIPG UNIDA Presents Director of Education and Development of Al-Hidayah Waqf Foundation in International Guest Lecture

The Faculty of Islamic Religion and Teacher Education (FAIPG) of Djuanda University (UNIDA) held another International Guest Lecture, Monday (5/6/2023). After previously inviting PCIA Malaysia 2nd Vice Chair Nita Nasyithah, M.Ed in the International Guest Lecture, this time FAIPG UNIDA presented Ustadz Abdul Meatam MIRKH, Ph.D as Director of Al-Hidayah Waqf Foundation of Education and Social Development, Thailand.
 
The activity which was held online was themed "Building Students International Vision of Learning Through Thailand Internship Activity". Also attending the activity, including the Dean of FAIPG UNIDA Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I., M.C.E, Deputy Dean for Non Academic Affairs Abdul Kholik, M.Pd.I, and other FAIPG leaders.
 
Dean of FAIPG UNIDA Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I., M.C.E in her speech said, this International Guest Lecture activity is one of the concrete forms of implementation of cooperation between FAIPG UNIDA and Al-Hidayah Waqf Foundation from 2017. Every year, FAIPG UNIDA also sends students to carry out internships in Thailand even though it was stopped when the Covid19 pandemic occurred.
 
"We hope that the output is that fellow students can prepare themselves to later take part in an internship program in Thailand. This year, the educational institutions where students do internships have a wider reach, all the way to Bangkok. It is important for us as young agents of change to be able to provide an international vision. The overseas experience will have a tremendous impact on us for the continuity of learning in the future," said Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I., M.C.E.
 
Meanwhile, Director of Al-Hidayah Waqf Foundation of Education and Social Development Ustadz Abdul Meatam MIRKH, Ph.D said, UNIDA has provided facilities for students to participate in internship programs abroad, especially to Thailand. Therefore, the opportunity to participate in internship activities abroad must be maximized properly by students to develop their potential.
 
Ustadz Abdul Meatam MIRKH, Ph.D also said that there are many benefits from what students do when they dare to take part in an internship program abroad. Not only new knowledge and insights, but the experience of what has been followed can form a positive character that is expected to be a driving force to bring change.
 
"There are so many benefits of doing an internship abroad, especially in Thailand, of course the first is the increase in our international insight as students. Then, besides that, it is also to strengthen ukhuwah and networks, this will be very important. Insha'Allah, we can open wider cooperation opportunities, develop businesses and enterprises, this is very possible.
