As a form of strengthening cooperation, the Faculty of Islamic Religion and Teacher Education (FAIPG) of Djuanda University (UNIDA) together with the Faculty of Psychology of Mercu Buana University (UMB) held the signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) and Implementation Arrangement (IA), on Monday (10/7/2023) at the UMB Rectorate Building
The activity was attended by Vice Rector II UNIDA, Dr. Hj. Endeh Suhartini and staff, Dean of FAIPG UNIDA, Dr. Zahra Khusnul Latifah, M.Pd.I., M.C.E and staff, Dean of Faculty of Psychology UMB, Laila Meiliyandrie Indah W, Ph.D., and staff.
Dean of FAIPG UNIDA, Dr. Zahra Khusnul Latifah, M.Pd.I., M.C.E said, on this occasion also discussed the implementation of ongoing international research collaboration between UNIDA, International University of Malaya-Wales (IUMW) Malaysia, and UMB.
"So this is an implementation of the pre-existing MoU between Djuanda University and IUMW. Then it was perfected with an MoA also between the Faculty of Psychology UMB and FAIPG UNIDA because the implementers of the research were from these three campuses, "she said.
As previously informed, in addition to UNIDA and UMB, this meeting was also attended by leaders of other university representatives, including the Dean of FKIP Open University Prof. Dr. Ucu Rahayu, M.Sc and staff, representatives of the Nusantara Scientific Psychology Concert, representatives of Universiti Malaysia Sabah Dr. Dg. Norizah Ag Kiflee and representatives of IUMW Malaysia Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mimi Fitriani, Ph.D.
"The purpose of this activity is of course to develop a network of cooperation at the international level where we hope that from this cooperation other forms of cooperation will be established to support the performance of each university. Because of course internationalization now cannot be avoided, the demands have also been higher to achieve our study programs to excel," she said.
In line with this, Vice Rector II UNIDA Dr. Hj. Endeh Suhartini, S.H., M.H. expressed his gratitude to all UMB leaders and leaders of representatives of other universities who attended and supported the signing of this collaboration.
"Hopefully this cooperation can provide benefits for all parties. Not only for one faculty but also can open opportunities for cooperation between other faculties. Hopefully, this cooperation can improve achievements and contribute to advancing the nation, "she said.
