The Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Training (FAIPG), Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA), conducted a visit to Ponpes St Aisyah Abu Bakar Boarding School on Saturday (January 17, 2026) as part of its effort to expand access to higher education for pesantren graduates.
The activity, held in the school’s main hall, was attended by the boarding school’s leadership, teachers, and female students. During the session, the FAIPG team emphasized the importance of early academic planning and preparedness for pursuing higher education.
In addition to providing an overview of the academic system and available study programs, FAIPG also explained the admission pathways and educational support schemes accessible to prospective students. The information was delivered through an interactive discussion to ensure that the students gained a clear understanding of the process and opportunities for continuing their studies.
Through this initiative, FAIPG UNIDA reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the improvement of human resources within the pesantren community and to creating broader opportunities for students to pursue higher education.
The visit concluded with a discussion session and joint documentation as a symbol of the positive relationship between FAIPG UNIDA and Ponpes St Aisyah Abu Bakar Boarding School.
