Bogor — Efforts to foster a culture of discipline in educational institutions continue to be strengthened. Through a Community Service Program (PKM), Faculty of Islamic Religion and Teacher Education, Universitas Djuanda organized a program titled “Development of Character-Based Classroom Management Program to Enhance Student Discipline” at Pondok Pesantren Darul Wasilah Al-Abror Kopo on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

The activity was attended by male and female students in the pesantren’s hall. The program focused on strengthening students’ understanding of the importance of discipline as an essential part of personal character, as well as a foundation for creating an orderly and conducive learning environment.

During the session, the PKM team emphasized that classroom management is not only the responsibility of teachers but also requires active awareness from students. Discipline was highlighted as a form of commitment to rules, punctuality, diligence in learning, and mutual respect among peers.

The material was delivered interactively through concept presentations, discussions, and joint reflections on daily learning habits. The students were encouraged to realize that their success in learning is greatly influenced by their personal attitude and self-discipline.

The pesantren administration highly appreciated the implementation of this program and hopes that the character values instilled can continue to be applied in everyday learning activities. Through this PKM program, it is expected that a culture of discipline within the pesantren will be further strengthened, supporting the development of students who are responsible, well-charactered, and high-achieving.
