Festival Romansa Arabiyyah (FAROBIY) 2026 officially concluded with the announcement of the winners on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Building C of Universitas Djuanda and was also broadcast online via Zoom. Carrying the theme “Weaving Achievements, Initiating the Future, and Building Civilization through the Arabic Language,” the event marked the culmination of a series of Arabic language competitions attended by participants from elementary and Islamic elementary schools (SD/MI), junior and senior high schools, university students, and the general public.
The closing ceremony was attended by the Head of the Arabic Language Education Study Program, Didin Syamsudin, Arabic Language Education lecturer at the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education, Desky Halim Sudjani, as well as the Vice Rector II of Universitas Djuanda, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah. Their presence reflected strong support for the development of young people’s potential through the Arabic language.
In FAROBIY 2026, participants competed in several categories, including Adhan, Khitobah, Qira’atul Akhbar, Qira’atu Syi’ir, and Ghina Arabi. These competitions served as a platform for participants to develop their abilities, creativity, and self-confidence in the field of Arabic language and Islamic arts.
The closing ceremony was filled with enthusiasm, especially during the announcement of the winners, which became the most anticipated moment for participants and their companions. Through this event, the Arabic Language Education Study Program of FAIPG Universitas Djuanda hopes that FAROBIY will continue to serve as a platform for achievement development, strengthening friendship, and fostering love for the Arabic language as a language of knowledge and civilization.
