Bogor, April 17, 2026 — The Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Training (FAIPG) at Djuanda University Bogor organized a Technical Guidance (Bimtek) program to enhance lecturers’ capacity in research and community service (PkM) on Friday (April 17) at the Smart Class, Building A.
The event was attended by approximately 36 lecturers from the Islamic Education Management (MPI), Arabic Language Education (PBA), and Islamic Religious Education (PAI) study programs. Also present at the event were the Dean of FAIPG, Dr. Abdul Kholik, M.Pd.I, along with the faculty leadership, namely Vice Dean I dr. Helmia Tasti Adri, S.Pd., M.Pd.Si. and Vice Dean II Dr. Agung Muttaqien, M.Pd., who participated throughout the entire program.
In his remarks, Dr. Abdul Kholik stated that the Bimtek serves as a strategic effort to improve the quality of the university’s tridharma, particularly in the areas of research and community service.
“Through this activity, we hope that lecturers can better understand the opportunities and strategies to obtain scientific publication grants and enhance the quality of impactful community service,” he said.
The program also featured Dr. Nur Kafid, S.Th.I., M.Sc., Head of the Sub-Directorate of Research and Community Service at the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, as the keynote speaker. In his presentation, he delivered materials on scientific publication assistance programs and community service grants for Islamic higher education institutions for the 2026 fiscal year.
During the session, participants received socialization and training covering submission procedures, academic writing techniques, and strategies for securing funding.
Through this program, FAIPG expects to encourage lecturers to increase their productivity in producing high-quality scientific work and to strengthen the university’s contribution to community empowerment.
