This seminar aims to provide education to vocational school students who are vulnerable to falling into the dangers of online loans (pinjol) and online gambling. The chief executive, Reffi Ananda, explained that the target audience for this seminar was grade 12 students.
"Grade 12 vocational school students are the perfect target for holding this seminar considering that they will soon graduate and enter the world of work and will have the right to their own income," said Reffi.
In his presentation, Dr. Ridwan Haris discusses in depth how online lending and gambling can change from mere entertainment to a destructive addiction. He also emphasized the importance of awareness of strategies to avoid traps which are often packaged in the form of attractive advertisements in various media.
One of the important things revealed in this seminar was the fact that Bogor Regency is one of the regions with the highest number of victims of online loans and online gambling in Indonesia. This information further emphasizes the importance of early education to prevent the younger generation from falling further.
The seminar participants gave positive responses, stating that the material presented was very educational and opened their minds about the negative impacts of online lending and gambling. They also highlighted the many advertisements circulating in the media which often trap young consumers.
With this seminar, UNIDA KKN Group 13 students hope to increase vocational school students' awareness of the dangers of online loans and gambling, as well as encourage preventive action in the future to protect the younger generation from increasingly complex financial risks.
