Students of the Faculty of Islamic Religion and Teacher Education (FAIPG) Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA) who are members of Group 13 of Real Work Lectures (KKN) held a Logo Doing Training Using the Canva Application which was held offline at the Cibereum Village Hall on Saturday, August 5, 2023. The activity was filled by FAIPG UNIDA Student Ulya Qonita and attended by villagers as Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Cibereum Bogor Regency.
Chief Executive M. Hafiz, in his speech, stated that this training is expected to be useful for MSMEs in Cibereum Village who want to make a logo because the logo is a product identity and is very important in developing product excellence.
"Thank you to the Cibereum Village Government who has welcomed our program very well and thank you also to residents who have MSMEs who have taken the time to attend this training. Hopefully in the future those who are present today can channel the knowledge gained to other MSME actors who are unable to attend at this time and hopefully this activity can participate in improving MSMEs in Cibeureum Village, Bogor Regency, "he said.
Furthermore, the Cibeureum Village Government Service Section, Supri Haryoko, in his speech, stated that thank God for the existence of Djuanda University KKN students could help each other, especially in the progress of the village, especially regarding MSMEs. The presence of this activity is the beginning of knowledge about the importance of making their logos which, at this time, residents are trained to be able to make logos with Canva. Hopefully, in the future, the Cibeureum Village office and FAIPG KKN students can continue to benefit each other.
Meanwhile, Ulya Qonita, the resource person in her material, stated that Canva is a website or application that can be used in various designs, including creating a logo. Logo-making training is one of the right programs to be carried out in Cibeureum village because most residents have a business in the products produced, and symbols play an essential role in product identity.
"In this training, not only the material is delivered but we will immediately practice together making a logo as an introduction to the function of the Canva application. After this activity is completed, it is hoped that residents who have MSMEs in Cibeureum Village but do not yet have a logo, can have a logo and for those who already have a logo, are expected to upgrade their logos so that they are expected to improve their business branding, "he said
On the same occasion, Eha, as the Head of MSMEs of Cibeureum Village in an interview session stated that Alhamdulillah, this program is beneficial, especially for novice MSMEs who do not yet have a logo; with this, it can also be continued until later the knowledge will not stop only today, but can be socialized again to MSMEs in Cibeureum Village who are unable to attend.
"Hopefully with this program, MSMEs in Cibeureum Village will improve even better," he concluded.
