Students of Group 18 Thematic KKN Faculty of Islamic Religion and Teacher Education (FAIPG) Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA) held an Education Workshop in Sukakarya Village, Megamendung District, Bogor Regency.
This is based on a Group 18 Thematic KKN FAIPG UNIDA survey with Field Supervisor (DPL) Dr. Rasmitadila, M.Pd.
"The facts on the ground show that there are some teaching staff in the Sukakarya Village area who do not understand inclusive education so they cannot identify children with special needs. Therefore, the teacher staff still carry out the same learning methods as children in general," said Uswah, representative of Group 18 Thematic KKN FAIPG UNIDA in Sukakarya Village, on Friday (4/8/2023).

The targets of this educational workshop activity include increasing participants' understanding of the principles and values of inclusion in education, increasing participants' ability to plan, implement, and evaluate inclusive programs in schools or educational institutions, to providing support and resources to overcome challenges in implementing an inclusive approach in education.
"By achieving these targets, participants are expected to be more prepared and competent in creating an inclusive learning environment and providing equal learning opportunities for all students," he said.
The inclusive education workshop activities include various activities, including presentations where Facilitators deliver material on the principle of inclusion, the educational needs of students with multiple conditions, and inclusive teaching strategies through presentations.
