The Coordinator of Private Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (Kopertais) Region II West Java conducted Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activities for PTKIS 2024 at the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Training (FAIPG) of Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA) on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.
The activity, which took place in Classroom 401 of FAIPG UNIDA, was led directly by Prof. Dr. H. Encup Supriatna, M.Si as the Visitor from Kopertais II West Java, and was welcomed by UNIDA Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hj. R. Siti Pupu Fauziah, M.Pd.I, FAIPG UNIDA Dean, Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I., M.C.E along with staff and lecturers.
"Monitoring and evaluation is not just an administrative routine, but an important process to ensure that higher education quality standards can be continuously improved," said Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I., M.C.E in her remarks.
Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I., M.C.E emphasized the importance of monitoring and evaluation activities as a strategic effort to improve the quality of Islamic higher education in West Java. She also invited all participants to actively participate in this activity.
"Let's use this moment to share experiences in managing higher education institutions so that we can strengthen the existence of PTKIS in West Java," she added.
Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. H. Encup Supriatna, M.Si in his direction highlighted important breakthroughs regarding the implementation of automation systems for extending university accreditation status.
"This automation system is designed to provide convenience for universities in the accreditation extension process while ensuring quality standards are maintained consistently," he explained.
Furthermore, Prof. Encup conveyed that the implementation of this system is expected to provide various benefits, including accelerating the process of extending accreditation status, reducing administrative burden on universities, improving quality assessment accuracy, and encouraging continuous improvement in higher education quality.
"With this automation system, we hope to create a more efficient and quality higher education ecosystem in Indonesia," he concluded.
The monitoring and evaluation activity continued with an in-depth material presentation session by Prof. Dr. H. Encup Supriatna, M.Si followed by an interactive question and answer session with participants.
