The Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) under the auspices of the Faculty of Islamic Religion and Teacher Education (FAIPG) of Djuanda University has successfully held activitiesGuest Lecture with Education Practitioners. (June 26, 2025)
This guest lecture presents Joseph Gunawan,M.Pd.,who is JFT Disdik Bogor Regency, and also as an Expert Trainer (Fasilitator) for the Driving School, as the main speaker. On that occasion, he discussed the topic "Becoming a Professional Teacher”which provides important insights for prospective teachers in facing the digital era and global challenges in the world of education.
The event was opened by the Secretary of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, who stated that the guest lecture was part of an effort to improve students' academic quality through collaboration with the professional world. The event was attended by students and faculty members.
In his presentation, Yusep Gunawan, M.Pd. shared variousThe Role of Teachers In Deep Learning that he has implemented in the field. He also provides real-life case examples and tips for creating a fun, interactive, and character-based learning environment.
Through this activity, UNIDA's Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) students have the opportunity to directly understand the dynamics of elementary education and broaden their horizons regarding innovative teaching practices. This guest lecture serves as a crucial bridge between the theory learned in college and the realities of the workplace.
It is hoped that through similar activities, students can be increasingly inspired and motivated to become professional educators who are ready to answer the challenges of the times with competent pedagogical skills and creativity.
