Djuanda University (UNIDA) once again held a routine Muslimah Studies activity which on this occasion was attended by Nur Asiah Jamil, Santri Student of Da'wah Cadre Education (PKD) Arabic Language Education Study Program (PBA) Faculty of Islamic Religion and Teacher Education (FAIPG) UNIDA with the theme "Communication in Islam can help shape the character of Muslim women" at the UNIDA Baitul Hamdi Mosque (MBH) on Friday, December 13 2024.
Nur Asiah Jamil in her presentation of the material said that communication in Islam is a da'wah activity to convey the truth. He quoted a verse from the Koran, Surah Al-Ahzab verse 70, which commands believers to fear Allah and speak the right words.
"Communication in Islam is not just talking, but is also a means of getting closer to Allah SWT and building a Muslim personality through an intense relationship with Him," he said.
On the same occasion, Nur Asiah Jamil also emphasized the importance of keeping good words (Sayings of Ma'ruf) namely by avoiding words that are useless, rude, vulgar and have the potential to demean other people, as well as the importance of respecting the person you are talking to and paying attention to who you are talking to, be it parents, leaders or friends.
