UNIDA FAIPG Students Strengthen International Collaboration Through Cultural and Leadership Discussions at Yala Rajabhat University

Students of the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education (FAIPG) at Djuanda University (UNIDA) visited Yala Rajabhat University. This activity aimed to enhance cultural exchange and develop student leadership through a discussion entitled "Bridging Cultures, Building Leadership." (24/08/2025)

This activity fostered the spirit and enthusiasm of students, as well as curiosity about the diversity between the 2 cultures, Yala Rajabhat University gave a warm and memorable welcome to UNIDA students, UNIDA students received a campus profile video showing the university's academic, cultural, and international exchange program excellence. UNIDA and Yala Rajabhat University students were divided into 3 discussion groups with different themes, including "The Role of Student Leaders in Strengthening ASEAN Friendship and Collaboration, Cultural Exchange, Sustainability and Social Responsibility".

During the discussions, students not only exchanged ideas but also designed programs to strengthen friendships between countries, build intercultural understanding, and increase social awareness. The results of these discussions will be presented to their peers as a source of reflection and collaborative learning, inspiring and expanding knowledge.

The discussion concluded with a group photo, a symbol of friendship and a commitment from the students to continue bridging cultures and honing their leadership skills. This visit is expected to foster a stronger network of friendships between UNIDA and Yala Rajabath University students and foster innovative ideas to address global challenges.

At the end of the discussion, Madam Maesaroh Samaae, International Office of the Faculty of Education, Yala Rajabhat University, said: “When Indonesian and Thai students share their cultures, we are actually planting the seeds of mutual understanding, tolerance, and brotherhood that will continue to grow in the future.”
