Region IV Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI) held a release event for the 2024 Nusantara Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKNT) students in Pekon Kota Agung, Tanggamus Regency, Lampung, on Friday, 27 September 2024. This event marked the end of a program aimed at empowering local communities through direct contributions from students from various universities.
Two Djuanda University (UNIDA) students who took part in the 2024 KKNT Nusantara program expressed their impressions and experiences while undergoing the program.
Nafhan Maulana Ashary, Student of the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program at the Faculty of Islamic Religion and Teacher Education (FAIPG) UNIDA, revealed that the KKNT Nusantara activity provided many valuable new experiences and insights for him.
“This program gives me the opportunity to learn about social and cultural dynamics in the field. "Of course, this experience not only broadened my horizons, but also shaped my character and leadership," he said.
In line with Nafhan, Irpan Saputra, a student of the Computer Science Study Program, Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM) UNIDA, said that the people of Pekon Kota Agung were very enthusiastic in participating in every series of activities carried out.
"The community is very enthusiastic and actively involved, so that there is a good relationship between students and residents," he said.
Meanwhile, Aminullah, S.T.P., M.T.P as Field Supervisor (DPL) hopes that the KKNT Nusantara program can continue in the future to strengthen synergy between academics and society, and provide a greater and more sustainable impact.
"We hope that KKNT Nusantara activities can continue, so that more students can contribute to community empowerment. "We also hope that the synergy between academics and society will become stronger, so that the programs carried out can have a greater and more sustainable impact," he said.
"Apart from that, we hope that there will be follow-up to the activities that have been carried out, such as further training and development of projects that have been started. "Hopefully this experience can be an inspiration for other students to actively participate in community service activities, as well as raise awareness of the importance of social contributions in development," continued the UNIDA Faculty of Halal Food Science (FIPHAL) lecturer.
On this occasion, Aminullah, S.T.P., M.T.P also expressed his thanks to all parties who have supported and launched each series of activities of the 2024 KKNT Nusantara program.
"We would like to thank LLDIKTI Region IV for providing this program, as well as especially all parties who have welcomed us and received us very well at Pekon Kota Agung, hopefully the friendship between students and the people of Kota Agung can continue," he concluded.
Also present to give a speech, the Head of Pekon Kota Agung, Neneng Rohani, S.E, expressed his pride in the dedication and commitment of the students during the program.
"The activities carried out not only provide benefits to the community, but also provide valuable experience for you as future leaders," he said when sending off students from the KKNT Nusantara program in Pekon Kota Agung.
