This event began with remarks by Dandi Hermawan, Chair of Group 15 KKN-T, who expressed his gratitude for the opportunity given by the school. In his speech, the Principal of Tanjung Sari Elementary School, Iis Suryani, S.Pd.SD, expressed his hope that this activity could run smoothly and be beneficial for the students. "Thank you to the teachers and students of classes V and VI who came to take part in this event. "Hopefully this event will run smoothly and be useful," he said.
Treasurer, Edih Sopian, S.Pd also expressed his appreciation for the KKN-T Student initiative. "Hopefully by holding this event, my children can gain new knowledge and be able to work through this workshop," he said.
The workshop then continued with the presentation of material entitled "Writing Simple Short Stories" by Qori Villa Puspita, one of the group members. Qori explained that short stories are a type of story that has one main plot and can be read in one sitting. "A short story has three main parts: beginning, middle and end," he explained.
After the material session, Arshi, a class VI student, was given the opportunity to read her short story. Arshi's appearance was a proud moment and motivated the other participants to write their own short stories.
This activity closed with the symbolic presentation of certificates to the Principal and Treasurer of SDN Tanjung Sari as a form of appreciation for their support for this activity.
This workshop succeeded in attracting students' interest in learning to write short stories. Through this activity, KKN-T students hope to hone children's creativity and literacy skills, as well as provide direct experience in writing stories that suit their world. This activity also aims to motivate female students to develop their writing skills from an early age.
