Good waste management requires sorting between biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste to ensure optimal recycling and processing. Biodegradable waste, such as leftovers, is...

Food and dried leaves can be processed into useful compost, but they are often mixed with inorganic waste due to the lack of clear signs or markers. Therefore, creating a "Decomposable Waste" sign is a simple but effective step.

It is important to provide visual cues to the public, increase environmental awareness, and support the creation of a clean and healthy environment.

This activity aims to provide clear markings at biodegradable waste disposal sites so that the public can more easily sort waste according to type. Furthermore, this activity aims to raise awareness of the importance of waste sorting, reduce environmental pollution caused by mixed waste, and

support the processing of organic waste into products that are beneficial to the environment.

Muhammad Faiz Al Faruqi, expressed his hopes for the creation of the waste nameplate.

"This 'Degradable Waste' sign isn't just a sign, but also an educational tool to encourage people to sort their waste. Degradable waste, such as food scraps, leaves, and other organic materials, can be processed into useful compost, preventing it from piling up and polluting the environment. With this sign, we hope that waste sorting will become a daily habit for all residents, for the sake of cleanliness and public health," he said.

It is hoped that this activity will result in a well-installed "Decomposable Waste" sign, increase public awareness in sorting waste, and encourage the creation of a cleaner and healthier environment.
