Students of the Community Service Program (KKN) of the Faculty of Islamic Religion and Teacher Education (FAIPG) of Djuanda University (UNIDA) Group 7 of Tanjungsari Village, present the Cheerful Arab Village program (01/08/2025)
Foreign language skills, particularly Arabic, can be a vital asset for students in developing knowledge, religion, and culture. However, for many children in rural areas, learning Arabic often feels difficult and boring if done only through conventional methods.
Through the "Cheerful Arab Village" program, we present Arabic language learning in a fun and interactive way. Children are encouraged to learn Arabic vocabulary related to body parts and the solar system through creative learning media such as pictures, games, songs, and group activities.
With this approach, children not only learn Arabic but also develop their imagination and interest in learning through topics relevant to their daily lives and curiosity, such as body parts and celestial bodies. It is hoped that this activity will foster a positive learning experience and strengthen the children's enthusiasm for learning Arabic.
The goal of the "Cheerful Arab Village" program is to introduce and enhance children's understanding of Arabic vocabulary, particularly those related to body parts and the solar system, through fun and interactive learning methods. Using play, singing, and engaging visual media, this activity also aims to foster interest in learning, strengthen memory, and build children's confidence in using Arabic in everyday life.
Syifa Fauziah Fitriani, the organizer of the activity, said that this activity is an effort to introduce Arabic to children in a fun and easy-to-understand way.
"This activity is an effort to introduce Arabic to children in a fun and easy-to-understand way. In the learning process, a creative approach is essential to keep children engaged and motivated to continue learning. By introducing vocabulary about body parts and the solar system, children are encouraged to play and learn using visual media, movement, and art activities. This activity is expected to foster interest in learning Arabic from an early age, as well as train children's memory, creativity, and confidence in understanding a foreign language," he said.
The hope of this activity is to foster and develop children's interest and love for Arabic. We hope that Kampung Arab Ceria can continue as a regular program, providing a fun and rewarding learning experience. Furthermore, this activity is expected to strengthen the foundations of Arabic while increasing children's creativity and confidence in using Arabic in their daily lives. With the support of all parties, we hope this village will become an inspiring language learning center with long-term benefits
