Students of KKN-T Group 17 FAIPG UNIDA Commemorate 10 Muharram with Citamiang Village Residents, Hold Competitions to Benefit Orphans

Students of the Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKN-T) Group 17 of the Faculty of Islamic Religion and Teacher Education (FAIPG) of Djuanda University (UNIDA) in Megamendung Village, in collaboration with STIT KKN students Insan Kamil, held a 10th Commemoration of Muharram and Orphan Compensation in Citamiang Village, Megamendung Village, Friday, July 28, 2023.

 Pahmi Ritonga, as Head of KKN-T Group 17 FAIPG UNIDA, said that this event was a series of work programs commemorating 10 Muharram 1445 H

"We collaborated with KKN students from STIT Insan Kamil and carried out this activity with teachers at SD Negeri Megamendung 03 which is a remote class," said Pahmi Ritonga

"The 10th anniversary of Muharram and Orphan Compensation is one of the work programs of FAIPG UNIDA Group 17 KKN students that has been agreed upon with the Field Supervisor (DPL), Mrs. Megan Asri Humaira, S.S., M.Hum," she continued

Pahmi Ritonga explained this activity began with the implementation of duha prayers and praying together, then continued with tausyiah, adhan competition, tahfizh competition, and calligraphy writing competition, which students of SDN Megamendung 03 attended. The implementation of orphan compensation was carried out jointly by KKN FAIPG UNIDA students with teachers of SDN Megamendung 03.

Meanwhile, Megan Asri Humaira, S.S., M.Hum, as DPL, hopes that this activity can provide an example for children about loving others, especially orphans, and teach them about the importance of charity.

"Hopefully this activity can provide a touch of affection to others, especially orphans by giving alms, as well as providing a real example for SDN Megamendung 03 students about love and the beauty of giving alms to people in need," said Megan Asri Humaira, S.S., M.Hum.
