KKN-T Group 09 Ciburayut Village FAIPG Djuanda Bogor University held socialization activities on sharia banking and savings literacy for students in Ciburayut Village with the theme "Sharia Savings Literacy to Build Smart Character in Managing Finances in High School Students" (06/08/2024 )
Financial literacy and savings socialization activities took place in the Ar - Rifa'iah Madrasah Aliyah Hall Kp. Citiis, Ciburayut Village, Cigombong District this, was attended by 70 students of class 12 MA Ar - Rifa'iah and several councils of accompanying teachers as well as students of KKN-T Group 09 Ciburayut Village. The socialization material was delivered directly by 2 students of the FAIPG sharia banking study program from KKN-T Group 09 Ciburayut Village namely Fatimah Wardatul Jannah and Dhea Safitri.
The socialization lasted for 2 hours starting from 14.00 - 16.00 WIB. The socialization was interactive, where students actively asked several questions about sharia savings and future planning to the presenters, and students who asked questions were also given the opportunity to answer other friends' questions and were given appreciation prizes in the form of tumblers.
Fatim, nicknamed Fatimah Wardatul Jannah (member of KKN-T Group 09 of Ciburayut Village) said that, "Financial literacy and education programs for students, especially grade 12 students, are very important as provisions for the future."
Financial literacy, especially saving, is an important skill that is not only relevant for adults, but also for students and students.
For school children, literacy in managing finances and saving is a very important long-term investment. Understanding financial basics from an early age can help us form wise habits and plan for a more stable future.
Financial education from an early age can also help create a generation that is smarter, more independent and ready to face financial challenges in an ever-changing era.
Therefore, in this socialization, KKN-T Group 09 Ciburayut Village students encouraged the students who took part in this literacy activity to start saving, especially with sharia savings, from now on so that they can achieve their desires or aspirations in the future.
The hope of KKN-T Group 09 Ciburayut Village students is that with the ongoing socialization of sharia banking with the theme "Sharia Savings Literacy to Develop Smart Character in Managing Finances in High School Students" students and girls, especially at MA - Ar - Rifa'iah can take instruction regarding the importance of preparing savings to continue your education at tertiary level, of course by opening a savings account at a sharia bank to manage your finances in a structured manner.
