The KURMA event was organized as an effort to strengthen the bonds of friendship among students of the Islamic Education Management Study Program while also fostering social awareness toward the community. The momentum of Ramadan was utilized by the students to strengthen brotherhood, increase empathy, and share happiness with orphaned children through a charity program.

“This activity not only strengthens the bonds among students but also nurtures social awareness toward the community, especially toward orphaned children,” he stated.

He hopes that similar activities can continue to be carried out as they help develop students who are not only academically competent but also possess empathy, social awareness, and a spirit of sharing with others.

In line with this, the Head of the Islamic Education Management Study Program, Dr. Muhammad Rendi Ramdhani, M.Pd.I, stated that the activity represents the implementation of the values of togetherness and social concern that should be possessed by MPI students.

In addition to the charity for orphaned children, the event also featured a short religious talk delivered by Imam Kurniawan, S.Pd, an alumnus of the MPI Study Program. In his presentation, he emphasized the importance of utilizing the month of Ramadan as a momentum to increase faith, perform more good deeds, and cultivate concern for others.
