The Primary School Teacher Education Study Program Student Association (HIMA PGSD) Djuanda University held a special event to commemorate National Teachers' Day 2024. Located in Building C, Djuanda University, this event took place full of enthusiasm and appreciation for teacher services with the theme "Teaching with the Heart, Educate with Love.". (11/25/2024)
The event started at 09.00 WIB and was attended by Djuanda University officials, including the Chancellor who officially opened the event with the statement, "By saying Bismillahirrohmanirrohim, the National Teachers' Day event is opened."
The Chancellor of Djuanda University, in his speech, expressed his gratitude and respect for the teachers: “Today is a happy day for teachers. Let us intend that our presence here is to glorify our teachers. "Thank you to HIMA PGSD for inviting us all to celebrate and glorify teachers through this event, of course under the guidance of the Dean, the Head of Study Program, and the lecturers." The Chancellor then invited all the attendees to sing together the song "Jasamu Guru," creating an atmosphere of emotion and togetherness.
One of the highlight moments of the event was the reading of a poem entitled "Class Notes" by and a special presentation from Mr. Ikhsan, a PGSD lecturer at Djuanda University. The poem describes the dedication and struggle of teachers in producing the nation's next generation.
This event was also an awards event, where outstanding teachers from YSPAII personnel and outstanding students from the PGSD Study Program received special honors for their contribution and dedication.
As a festive ending, all students of the Faculty of Islamic Religion and Teacher Education (FAIPG) Djuanda University collaborated in a flash mob performance which included dancing, orations, poetry readings and singing. This performance succeeded in creating an energetic and inspiring atmosphere, reflecting the students' solidarity and creativity.
The 2024 National Teachers' Day event at Djuanda University is clear proof that respect for teachers can be realized with creativity, enthusiasm and love.
