PGSD FAIPG UNIDA Wins Two Awards at the Association of Primary School Teacher Education Study Program Awards throughout Indonesia

The Primary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) Faculty of Islamic Religion and Teacher Education (FAIPG) Djuanda University (UNIDA) achieved a proud achievement in the Association of Primary School Teacher Education Study Program Awards throughout Indonesia (PPS PGSDI) which was held on 28-30 November 2024 in Yogyakarta.

In this activity, which was attended by more than 80 participants from various state and private universities, PGSD FAIPG UNIDA succeeded in winning two awards, including 1st National Champion in the Outstanding Student category and 2nd Place in the Best PGSD in Indonesia in the category of Implementation of Independent Learning at Independent Campus ( MBKM) National and International.

Dr. Helmia Tasti Adri, M.Pd.Si, as Chair of the FAIPG UNIDA PGSD Study Program, explained that the PPS PGSDI Award includes three main categories, namely Assistance in Preparing Outcome-Based Anugrah (OBA) Curriculum Workshops, Outstanding PGSD Study Programs, and Sharing Sessions Best Practices.

Dr. Helmia Tasti Adri, M.Pd.Si also said that this activity was an important forum for strengthening collaboration between PGSD study programs in Indonesia.

"This achievement is the first step to continue to advance the PGSD study program. We hope that this achievement will be able to raise the enthusiasm of lecturers and students to continue to excel, implement the concept of Independent Learning, Independent Campus, and make Djuanda University proud at the national and international level," he said.

Meanwhile, Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I, M.C.E, Dean of FAIPG UNIDA, expressed his congratulations and appreciation to the entire PGSD Study Program team who had achieved this proud achievement.

"Congratulations on the extraordinary achievements of the UNIDA FAIPG PGSD Study Program team. It is hoped that this achievement will be an inspiration for all UNIDA people to continue to progress and produce a generation of educators who are superior, innovative and globally competitive," She said.

Furthermore, Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I, M.C.E emphasized the importance of sustainable educational transformation by encouraging innovation and competency development of lecturers and students, as well as strengthening a learning ecosystem that is responsive to technological developments and global demands.

"Educational transformation is not just changing teaching methods, but also preparing a generation of educators who are able to adapt to rapid changes in the digital era," he said. "Congratulations on the extraordinary achievements of the UNIDA FAIPG PGSD Study Program team.
