Bogor – The Islamic Education Study Program (PAI) of the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education (FAIPG), Djuanda University, reviewed the draft of the 2026 PAI Curriculum during a study program discussion session held as part of the FAIPG Curriculum Workshop on Monday, June 23, 2026. The event was conducted in a hybrid format, taking place at the Hall of Building C, Djuanda University, and via Zoom Meeting.
The discussion session was led by the Head of the PAI Study Program, Muhammad Kafnun Kafi, M.Pd., and featured Dr. H. Asep Nursobah, M.Ag., Head of the Master’s Program in Islamic Education at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, as the keynote speaker.
During the forum, PAI lecturers and the invited speaker reviewed various components of the 2026 PAI Curriculum, including the graduate profile, Graduate Learning Outcomes (GLOs), curriculum structure, and course distribution. The discussion also focused on aligning the curriculum with current educational developments and the needs of stakeholders.
Dr. Asep Nursobah provided several recommendations regarding the development of the Islamic Education curriculum. According to him, a curriculum should be designed dynamically to accommodate advancements in knowledge while addressing the future needs of graduates.
The discussion was conducted in an interactive manner, involving all lecturers of the PAI Study Program. Various suggestions and recommendations generated during the session will serve as valuable input for refining the 2026 PAI Curriculum document before its implementation in the upcoming academic year.
The curriculum workshop organized by FAIPG forms part of the curriculum review process at the study program level, aiming to ensure that the curriculum remains relevant to educational developments and responsive to the needs of graduate users and stakeholders.
