The Independent Educational Accreditation Institute (LAMDIK) conducted a Field Assessment (AL) of the Islamic Education Management Study Program (MPI) Faculty of Islamic Religion and Teacher Education (FAIPG) Djuanda University (UNIDA) on Thursday-Friday, 12-13 October 2023 The assessor team assigned to assess on this occasion was Dr. Yuniarto Mudjisusatyo, M.Pd and Dr. Apud, S.Ag., M.Pd.
Present to welcome the team of assessors, including the UNIDA Chancellor and Chair of the Trustees of the Amaliah Djuanda Education Foundation, Prof. Dr. H. Martin Roestamy, S.H., M.H, Chair of the UNIDA Academic Senate Prof. Dr. Ir. Dede Kardaya, M.Si, Executive Director of YPSPIAI Dr. R. Hj. Siti Pupu Fauziah, S.Pd.I, M.Pd.I, UNIDA Chancellor Prof. Mohamad Ali Fulazzaky, Ph.D along with the Vice Chancellors, Dean of FAIPG Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I., M.C.E and his staff, and the Deans of UNIDA.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. H. Martin Roestamy, S.H., M.H welcomed the assessors. He hopes that the field assessment activities carried out can run smoothly and get maximum results, especially now that UNIDA is targeting to become a superior university by 2026.
"The MPI study program is the teacher of the lecturers at UNIDA, MPI is also responsible for the Aqidah and Sharia courses. "From the start, I have always said that religion-based study programs need to be paid attention to, because that is what will guide our campus to achieve what we aspire to, not only in this world but also success in the hereafter," said Prof. Dr. H. Martin Roestamy, S.H., M.H.
On the same occasion, Prof. Mohamad Ali Fulazzaky, Ph.D said that UNIDA has the characteristics of being a Tawheed Campus. Therefore, in internalizing the meaning of tawheed, UNIDA has established 21 Tawheed Character Values as a basis and provision for students.
"We establish the values of monotheism to train students in the future which will become provisions for everyday life. This is our monotheistic university which is different from other universities in Indonesia. "The 21 Character Values of Tauhid are the main capital for students," said Prof. Mohamad Ali Fulazzaky, Ph.D in his speech.
Meanwhile, Dr. Yuniarto Mudjisusatyo, M.Pd as assessor said that UNIDA's motto as a Tawheed Campus is in line with education in Indonesia which prioritizes manners over knowledge. Dr. Yuniarto Mudjisusatyo, M.Pd then explained that the assessment process is an important thing to verify facts and conditions in the field against the data and information submitted in the accreditation proposal document.
In line with this, Dr. Apud, S.Ag., M.Pd said that his visit with Dr. Yuniarto Mudjisusatyo, M.Pd is a forum for friendship to spread the spirit of kindness to each other. On the other hand, it is hoped that this field assessment can expedite the accreditation process for the MPI FAIPG UNIDA study program.
"We are here to carry out LAMDIK's duties, namely carrying out field assessments for validation, clarification and verification, which is an important activity where there may be things that have not been conveyed, there could be important things that have not been conveyed and have not been exposed," he said.
