Congratulations, FAIPG UNIDA Officially Opens Islamic Religious Education Study Program

Djuanda University (UNIDA) Bogor has once again demonstrated its commitment to expanding its contribution to the world of higher education in Indonesia by officially opening the Islamic Religious Education Study Program under the Faculty of Islamic Religion and Teacher Education (FAIPG).

This good news is stated in the Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 419 of 2025, which grants permission to open the study program. With the addition of this new study program, UNIDA is further strengthening its role in producing a generation of educators who are superior, have character, and are based on the values ​​of monotheism.

UNIDA Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hj. R. Siti Pupu Fauziah, M.Pd.I in her statement expressed her gratitude for the issuance of the permit.

"Thank you Alhamdulillah, this is a big trust that God willing"We will carry it out with full responsibility. Islamic Religious Education is an important foundation in building the nation's character, and UNIDA is ready to contribute in producing superior and moral educators," he said.

Meanwhile, the Dean of FAIPG UNIDA, Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I., M.C.E, emphasized that the presence of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program is part of a strategic effort to meet the community's need for competent and visionary Islamic educators.

"This study program is designed to answer the challenges of the times, with an integrative curriculum between religious knowledge, education, and learning technology. We want to produce graduates who understand religion, and are able to become agents of change in the world of education in Indonesia," he said.

For information, UNIDA, which is known as the Tauhid Campus, has received various recognitions and certifications, including ISO 21001:2018 and ISO 9001:2015, as well as programs that focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Currently, UNIDA has 23 study programs, with 10 of them achieving the Excellent accreditation predicate, which reflects almost 50% of the total study programs. The eight study programs are Law, Management, Islamic Economics, Food Technology, Islamic Education Management, Elementary School Teacher Education, Arabic Language Education, and Public Administration. Then, the other two study programs are at the Masters (S2) level, namely Masters of Public Administration and Masters of Law.
