Bogor, April 16, 2026 — The Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Training (FAIPG) at Universitas Djuanda held a National Education Seminar as part of the university’s 39th Anniversary celebration. The seminar, themed “Enhancing the Capacity of School Counselors in Delivering Effective, Adaptive, and Solution-Oriented Counseling Services in Schools,” was conducted online via Zoom Meeting on Thursday (April 16) from 09:00 to 12:00 WIB.
The seminar was attended by more than 400 participants from various backgrounds, including teachers, lecturers, university students, and vocational high school students from across Indonesia. The high level of participation reflects strong interest in strengthening guidance and counseling services in the education sector.
The event featured prominent speakers, namely Prof. Dr. Uman Suherman AS, M.Pd, Prof. Dr. Hj. R. Siti Pupu Fauziah Roestammy, S.Pd.I., M.Pd.I., and Adriana Eko Susanti, S.Psi., CH, CHT, MNLP. In their presentations, the speakers emphasized the importance of the role of school counselors in providing counseling services that are effective, adaptive, and capable of addressing various student challenges in the modern era.
The materials presented covered solution-oriented counseling approaches, student mentoring techniques, and the strengthening of professional competencies for school counselors in facing challenges within the school environment.
The event was hosted by Siti Khumairottuzzahra, M.Pd., as the Master of Ceremony, and moderated by Dr. Muhammad Rendi Ramdhani, S.Pd.I., M.Pd. The seminar ran interactively through presentations and a question-and-answer session, with active participation from attendees.
This seminar serves as part of FAIPG Universitas Djuanda’s efforts to enhance the quality of education, particularly in the field of guidance and counseling.
