Bogor — Eid al-Fitr is a long-awaited moment for Muslims around the world. In addition to being a time for forgiveness, Eid is also closely associated with the tradition of silaturahmi, which refers to visiting family, relatives, and loved ones to strengthen relationships.
Silaturahmi during Eid is not merely a tradition, but also carries significant social and spiritual values. Therefore, it is important for every individual to observe proper manners and etiquette when visiting, so that the atmosphere of togetherness remains comfortable and meaningful.
The Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Training (FAIPG) at Djuanda University emphasizes the importance of practicing proper visiting etiquette during Eid gatherings. These include asking for permission before visiting, greeting others politely, choosing an appropriate time, knocking on the door courteously, not staying too long, bringing small gifts, and maintaining good behavior and speech.
By observing these etiquettes, silaturahmi not only strengthens bonds of brotherhood but also reflects good moral values in social life.
This Eid moment is expected to serve as a reminder for the community to continuously uphold ethics in social interactions, while also strengthening unity and mutual care among others.
In addition, FAIPG Djuanda University has officially opened the 2026 New Student Admissions (PMB). Complete registration information can be accessed through the official website:
