Receiving a Visitation from LAMEMBA Assessors, the Sharia Economics Program of FAIPG UNIDA Undergoes Field Assessment for Accreditation

The Sharia Economics Program of the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education (FAIPG) at Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA) welcomed a Field Assessment from the Independent Accreditation Board for Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting (LAMEMBA) from Monday to Wednesday, October 21-23, 2024.

The opening of the Field Assessment was attended by UNIDA’s leadership, including Chancellor Prof. Dr. H. Martin Roestamy, S.H., M.H., Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hj. R. Siti Pupu Fauziah, S.Pd.I., M.Pd.I., and FAIPG Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I., M.C.E. The LAMEMBA assessors were represented by Prof. Dr. Nasikh, S.E., M.P., M.Pd., and Prof. Dr. Junaedi, S.E., M.Si.

In his remarks, the Chancellor of UNIDA emphasized the importance of the 21 Tauhid Character Values (NKT), which serve as a key foundation for the university in shaping individuals with strong faith.

This university embraces four pillars of wisdom that foster individuals with noble character, committed to adhering to policies and regulations as part of their faith,” he stated.

Similarly, Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hj. R. Siti Pupu Fauziah expressed her hopes for a smooth assessment process that would provide a clear picture of the program's performance.

The Sharia Economics Program at UNIDA is ready to provide all necessary documents and looks forward to data validation and guidance from the assessors for further improvement,” she said.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Nasikh from the LAMEMBA assessment team appreciated the warm welcome and Islamic atmosphere at UNIDA. In agreement, Prof. Dr. Junaedi, S.E., M.Si., added that accreditation is a shared responsibility aimed at enhancing the quality of higher education, particularly for the Sharia Economics program.

The event continued with a presentation by the UNIDA Sharia Economics accreditation team, led by the FAIPG Dean. Following this, the LAMEMBA assessors conducted a field assessment to evaluate the performance of the Sharia Economics program at UNIDA.
