Students on Community Service (KKN) from the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education conducted English teaching activities at Thamavitya Mulniti School, Songkhla. Thamavitya Mulniti School is located in the Amphoe Chana area of Songkhla, Southern Thailand. (10/08/2025)
Thamavitya Mulniti School Songkhla aspires to produce students who are competent and interested in learning English. English is the key to unlocking access to knowledge and opportunities internationally. It not only teaches religious studies but also develops students' understanding of other subjects, such as English. With its English language teaching program, This English can increase students' motivation in learning.
The goal of this program is to introduce Indonesian culture through language. However, in this global era, we are fully aware that English is a universal bridge of communication, also known as the international language. Therefore, as international community service students, we have designed a unique program that teaches not only Indonesian but also English.
This activity is held daily after Isha prayers and tahsinul Qur'an recitation. This program also shows that learning a language doesn't have to be rigid and burdensome, through stories, songs, and learning light communication. We introduce relaxed and formal Indonesian to showcase Indonesia's cultural diversity, as well as unique conversations for English that we can use everyday for common greetings such as "Good Morning".
