The Service Team of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) of the Faculty of Islamic Religion and Teacher Education (FAIPG) of Djuanda University (UNIDA) visited Amaliah Elementary School on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. The PGSD service team is chaired by Megan Asri Humaira, S.S., M.Hum, Irwan Efendi, M.Pd, and Sobrul Laeli, M.Pd members.
The Head of the Community Service Team, Megan Asri Humaira, S.S., M.Hum, explained this visit was carried out in the context of implementing a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) as one of a series of service activities entitled "Reconstruction of Indonesian Culture through the Learning Model of Introduction, Exploration, Interpretation, and Communication (Narasikom) in Facing Asia Future Shock for Bogor Elementary School Students."
The FGD was attended by the Principal of SD Amaliah, Wahyu Rahmat Maulana, M.Pd.I, Class 3 Homeroom Teachers, the Community Service Team, and 7 PGSD UNIDA students.
Megan Asri Humaira, S.S., M.Hum, said that this service was funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture and Technology of Higher Education through the Community Partnership Empowerment Scheme for Fiscal Year 2023
The Narasikom model results from research conducted by Megan Asri Humaira, S.S., M.Hum with the research team in 2022, namely Introduction, Exploration, Interpretation, and Communication, where students are expected to understand what they are learning quickly.
"The purpose of carrying out service activities in elementary schools is to reconstruct Indonesian culture as an effort to avoid the negative impacts of foreign cultures entering Indonesia due to the Asia Future Shock for elementary school students through the introduction, exploration, interpretation, and communication learning model (Narasikom)," Megan Asri Humaira, S.S., M.Hum explained
Meanwhile, the Principal of SD Amaliah, Wahyu Rahmat Maulana, M.Pd. This service activity can provide new insights and knowledge to teachers and school students, especially applying the Narasikom model.
