The Community Service Team (PKM) of Djuanda University (UNIDA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) through the Bima Grant, has carried out training on the Identification and Creation of Individual Learning Programs (PPI) at SDN Rangga Mekar, Kota Bogor.
This training and mentoring aims to enable teachers to better understand how to handle students with special needs. The activity starts with Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Friday, 23 August 2024, followed by training on Friday, 6 September 2024, at the same location.
The UNIDA Bogor PKM team is led by Hanrezi Dhania Hasnin, S.Pd, M.Si, and its members consist of PGSD study program lecturers, namely Prof. Dr. Rasmitadila, M.Pd, Annisa Mawardini, M.Pd, and students namely Nabila Kamaliah and Syahara Putri Kholifah.
This training was attended by the Principal of SDN Rangga Mekar, Acem, S.Pd, along with 17 teachers and other education staff.
PKM Team Leader, Hanrezi Dhania Hasnin, S.Pd, M.Si, explained that this activity aims to help students who are suspected of having special needs at SDN Rangga Mekar, so that they receive appropriate identification and learning programs, so that their potential can be maximized.
"This activity will also provide benefits for lecturers and students as scientific enrichment and the results will be recognized in lecture credits,"
The Team would like to thank the Government through the Bima Grant from the Ministry of Education and Culture for the trust given to manage this activity. It is hoped that this training can provide significant benefits for SDN Rangga Mekar in dealing with existing problems.
This training is part of PKM which focuses on assisting teachers and education personnel to optimize the potential of students with special needs as a whole.
