In a series of community service and empowerment program activities in Kuta Village, Megamendung, Bogor Regency, the Capacity Strengthening Program Team (PPK) of Ormawa Elementary School Teacher Education Student Association (PGSD) Faculty of Islamic Religion and Teacher Education (PGSD) Juanda University (UNIDA) held activities Socialization and Mentoring, on Saturday, August 19 2023.
This Socialization and Mentoring activity raised the theme "Increasing Digital Literacy and Cultivation and Entrepreneurship Programs to Improve Community Economic Prosperity" by inviting FAIPG UNIDA Lecturer M. Rendi Ramdhani, M.Pd who is also the Head of the Student and Alumni Bureau, as well as presenting UNIDA Faculty of Agriculture Lecturer Ir . Nur Rochman, M.P as resource person.
In the material presentation session, FAIPG UNIDA Lecturer M. Rendi Ramdhani, M.Pd conveyed about educational literacy.
"Education is important for the future, we must have dreams from childhood to foster motivation, because to be successful, you must have a goal in life. So it is very important to encourage children to continue their education," he said.
M. Rendi Ramdhani, M.Pd said, education is very important for lifelong living needs. Without education, humans will find it difficult to develop.
“Education can change lives. If you are educatedGod willing jobs are looking for us. It's different if you don't have education, usually what happens a lot is getting married at an early age. "Actually, this is not the right solution, instead it becomes a loss due to difficulty adapting, and then difficulty pursuing a career for the future," he explained.
Meanwhile, UNIDA Faculty of Agriculture Lecturer Ir. Nur Rochman, M.P conveyed regarding the cultivation of herbal plants, as well as various ways to utilize the surrounding potential for entrepreneurship.
"We can start entrepreneurship from a small, the conditions are of course being willing to work hard, willing to learn and also not giving up easily in learning many new things," he said.
