FAIPG KKN Students from Djuanda Bogor University from Group 16 Gunung Guruh and Group 18 Mangkalaya held an outreach event entitled "The Dangers of Online Gambling and Online Loans: Quick Solutions or New Problems" at SMKN 1 Gunungguruh. This event aims to increase public awareness regarding the risks and impacts of online gambling and online loans. This socialization was attended by 125 participants from class 12 of SMKN 1 Gunungguruh, as well as the Deputy Head of Public Relations of SMKN 1 Gunung Guruh, Ernas Hamdani, S.Pd. (08/08/2024)
The speakers presented included Aipda Bonny Jaya Sakti Gandhany, S.Pd. from Gunung Guruh Police, who discussed the dangers of online gambling, and Yadi Setiawan, M.Pd., who explained problems related to online loans. KANIT INTELKAM Cecep Hermawan Pamungkas, Bhabinkamtibmas Cibolang and Mangkalaya Village Aipda Wawan Gunawan, and Babinsa Cibolang Serda Hadi Suyono also provided support and perspective on these issues. Dzulkifli as the chief organizer of the event ensured the smooth running of this activity.
In his speech, Deputy Head of Public Relations of SMKN 1 Gunung Guruh, Ernas Hamdani, S.Pd., expressed his appreciation for the implementation of this activity
"We really appreciate this KKN student initiative. This outreach is very important to provide insight to students about the dangers of online gambling and online loans. We hope that students can be wiser in using technology and understand the risks that exist." he said
Aipda Bonny Jaya Sakti Gandhany added the impact of online gambling.
"Online gambling is not only detrimental from a financial perspective but also has an impact on mental health. It is important to have high awareness and protect yourself from temptations that can ruin your life." he said
Meanwhile, Mr Yadi Setiawan, M.Pd. reminded of the blessings of online loans
"Online loans often offer convenience, but we have to be careful about conditions and interest that are not transparent. Education about this is very important so that people don't get trapped in long-term financial problems." he said
With this outreach, it is hoped that SMKN 1 Gunungguruh students can understand and avoid the risks of online gambling and online loans, and can take appropriate preventive steps to protect themselves from potential problems in the future.
